Welcome to CTS News & Information

Thursday July 10, 2008

Hello again,

It has been a while since last update here on the news page.

First off lets congradulate Dave Sharpe who won last months "Where on the site is?"contest. Dave, Bryan , Andy & Brian Barber (who was not eligable for the prize) were the only ones to find Zach's missing picture. Dave, you can PKUP your Sconset Cookie & a $25.00 gift certificate for AK Diamonds here in the office. I had zero feedback about contests in last months newsletter so I have discontinued website contests. If you would like it to continue please let me know.

Missing: We are missing the second key to van number 11 AKA "The Short Bus", please check your pockets, dressers, wash rooms, or anywhere it could have been left.

If at any time you notice something missing from a vehicle such as cards, flashlite, umbrella or anything mechanical problems please be sure to put a note on your drivers sheet so that Ray or Tom or anyone who needs to know gets the message.

Some of you have been notified personally but I want to be sure everyone knows we have received complaints about driving too fast in the vans. The complaints have come from people who know us and report unsave driving to our office also customers, as well as Nantucket PD who tend to let up pass with a warning but if it continues drivers will be stopped and ticketed.

Also on the complaint list has been cell phone use I have received coments from people on the street  the every time they see our vechicles the driver seems to be talking on their cell phone. I have also received 2 complaints from clients. Please be sure to stay off the phone while clients are in the vehicle.

On a happy note June is over, and we want to thank all who spent the long late-night hours with painstaking parties we all delt with over the five brutally busy weeks. Along with complaints I also received many comments about how friendly, polite, knowledgable and professional our drivers are. And I am happy to say that the compliments outweigh the complaints. Thank You...

Uniforms: Please let us know if you have received any uniforms. Let us know what you have (pants, shirts, polo shirts & what sizes)

Don't forget to send your available hours to work early in the week, when it comes to slot drivers it is first come first serve...

Hello everyone,

As the summer weather has arrived and so has the wedding season.  This past weekends weddings and events went off without a hitch as would be expected. We received a complement from the NY planners from the Irsay / Gordon Wedding that we are the most professional transportation comapny they have delt with. So we thank you all for that and yall get a great big ataboy or girl...

The search for Zach has not tallied many responses. Please let me know if you are unable to find him or are just not interested & I will either keep or discontinue it in the future.

We have another busy one ahead this week beginning on thursday night. We need drivers for multiple vans on Thursday, as many as 8 for Friday night. Saturday kicks off in the am with the Kuretek / Seidel Wedding, followed by the Lubin / Sutton fishing trip. After 1pm is the Arsenault / Thaler Wedding & the Von Kampen / Conrad Wedding then its on to the Lubin / Sutton Wedding again. Needless to say this will all run into the evening / morning hours for some of us. All this plus a few other unrelated assignments as well.

Sunday Brunch consists of another 8 vans looping for a few hours.

I am going to try scheduling as early as I can so please let me know wearther you are onboard or not... As I stated in the past if you have a schedule that never changes let me know then you only need to respond with your availability when something changes.

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Well it is Wednesday again people and we will be putting together the schedule for this comming week so please let me know your availability so I can slot you in somewhere. We got the Wine festival going on this weekend as well as a tour group 73 people from Detroit that we will be toting around. Some of you may know Thomas Barrada & Terri Hastings, they are getting married on Saturday with us providing the transportation. Anyone who has a schedule that does not change week to week can please send it to me then you can just let me know times you will not be available instead.

I have been asked what happened to the other pictures the peter sent as well as the video. Well, the other picture picture file was to large to post and the video will not play. If you would like a copy of the email let me know and I will forward it to you.

We also have again lost our good friend Zach Galvin Again. Not only has he been traveling around the world and using the Eifel Tower in Paris as his own private jungle gym while he is not battling with our countries leaders in Washington in his attempt to leave his mark on the NEA while he is at it. Anyway, that is only minor compared to his being lost inside our website again. (For a guy who travels the world you would think he could manuver a simple multi page website)

The rules have been tweeked this time around. Anyone who can find the picture of Zach hidden somewhere within our site then email me the password that goes along with it will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate for somewhere on Nantucket. We will have a different challenge as well as a different prize every month. This months winner will be drawn on June 4th.

I got a letter from Peter Newhall today, He has been living in Ireland and sends his best to all. I copied and pasted the letter below along with picture of the baby.

Kenny and gang,
I hope all is going well out there. The beginning of the season has arrived, I sure do miss you all and even being on island in general. Ireland might sound exciting but Dublin is like the European version of East St.Louis or the Bronx.
Kenny thank you in advance for sending the info, my email is:
peutus_sacramento@yahoo.com

I've included some family photos of the 4 month old Freya Newhall and her mom Deirbhle (DERVLA) and a little video of me and her when she was a few weeks old. You should have heard some of the names Deirbhle was coming up with before Freya was agreed on, they were a lot more odd then Freya believe it or not. Dave said it's looking busy out there this year, thats good. Remember to have some fun on the slow days.
Have a great summer everyone,

Peter

The week of May 1 - 7 availability needed ASAP

Wednesday, April 02, 2008

It seems most have seen the website and I received a lot of great feedback.

Thank You.

It’s almost time to get back rolling for another season.

Looking at the calendar it seems our first big kick off weekend will be the weekend of May 9th – 11th. The biggest event of that weekend is a rather large wedding with the use of 6 vans on Friday night, then Saturdays wedding will be a midday affair with use of as much as 7 – 10 drivers then 4 – 6 for the evening. All this will be followed by a brunch on Sunday with just a few vans doing some looping.

If you have been paying attention to our fleet page you may have noticed the new additions to the fleet including a replacement of the Expedition with a newer model. Also there are now 10 vans 6 white and 4 gray. Things are coming along well and we are looking forward getting things rolling.

Where in the world is…..

Because of all the cry babying Zach did for taking his picture off the site I created a new contest called “Where in the world is….” Somewhere in the Cranberry website is a picture of one of Cranberry’s finest. It could be anywhere.

This time it is Zach, The first person who finds him & emails me the password found with the picture wins an amazing prize.

Grand prize is 1 – Sconset Cookie (When available)

Congradulations to David Sharpe, He found where Zach is hiding. (Thursday, April 03, 2008 10:33:32 AM)
